Litigation

Current industry challenges in the Dominican Republic

The practice of litigation in different matters presents constant challenges in the Dominican Republic. The most recent has been the digitalization of files and the virtuality of processes as a result of the pandemic.

Even though this was part of the Strategic Plan of the Judiciary with a view to being developed in the years 2020 to 2024, the global situation of the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated its implementation and use in the country.

Our Experience

JP has a robust litigation practice in civil and commercial, administrative and tax, criminal, labor and constitutional matters. JP assists its clients in the stages prior to the start of any conflict, with a view to its prevention or early solution, and to anticipate the identification and collection of evidence that will be necessary for the correct substantiation of the case.

JP is able to efficiently handle litigation at all levels of complexity, relying on the other departments of the firm that allow him to formulate arguments before the judges in a clearer and more forceful manner.
