José Velázquez León is an associate of the firm, providing advice on regulatory matters and legislative support, analysis and evaluation of public policies and bills, as well as representation of Dominican and multinational companies before the Public Administration in public bids, registrations, permits and concessions. He is one of the members of Jiménez Peña’s Government team, which aims to assist clients in the regulatory aspects of interest to their sector and to promote actions to improve the local regulatory framework.

José is a summa cum laude graduate of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and holds a Master’s degree in Government and Public Administration from the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo (UIMP) and the Instituto Universitario Ortega-Marañón (IUOM), where he obtained the highest honors. He has also participated in specialized programs and courses in the field of administrative law, such as the II Diploma in Economic Administrative Law, given by the Instituto OMG.
