José Antonio Velázquez is part of the firm’s Litigation and Business Department. In the Litigation area, he concentrates his practice in Dispute Resolution, specifically involving himself in Civil, Labor and Real Estate Litigation. In addition, he assists the firm’s business department with immigration and consular procedures, advice on regulatory matters and legislative support, and representation of Dominican and multinational companies in public bids.

José Antonio is a graduate of Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, summa cum laude. In turn, he was part of the Law Students Committee of this university in the period 2020-2021, in which he had the opportunity to organize important conferences of national and international legal interest and the Virtual Seminar on Public-Private Partnerships, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Public-Private Partnerships.

Part of the legal team handling local labor matters for Frito Lay, a subsidiary of PepsiCo. Frito Lay employs more than 1,200 people in the Dominican Republic.

Part of the legal team representing a prestigious Financial Intermediation Entity in the Dominican Republic, in multiple labor and civil litigations.

Advising on regulatory matters and legislative support to leading companies belonging to various sectors of the economy, including industry and commerce, energy, social security, labor and pensions, foreign affairs and international cooperation, tourism, among others.
