Maria Gabriela is an attorney specializing in Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Tax Law, and Estate Planning. With extensive experience in cross-border transactions, she advises multinational clients on the strategic structuring of their investments and business operations in the Dominican Republic. Her practice ranges from complex M&A transactions in the hospitality, energy, and franchising sectors to the restructuring of corporate and family assets, combining business insight with tax-efficient solutions and high-impact contract negotiation.

Maria graduated summa cum laude from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE). She holds an LL.M. in International Business Law from Instituto de Empresa (IE), Madrid, Spain, and has completed advanced studies in special contracts, corporate transactions, and business restructuring. She is a Certified Tax Consultant by the Dominican Republic Tax Association (ATRI-RD) and has completed a Diploma in Business Administration from the Manhattan Institute of Management, as well as a Diploma in Estate Planning and International Taxation from Universidad del CEMA (UCEMA).

In addition, Maria has strong knowledge of common law and European Union law, having completed the Transactional Law and Practice Program at the University of Washington in Seattle, USA. She has also interned at the New York Courts and in the Corporate and M&A department of DLA Piper in Madrid, Spain.
