María Alejandra Rodríguez Florencio is part of our firm’s Business team. Her practice focuses on economic regulation; being part of investigations and proceedings in the telecommunications, energy, banking and civil aviation sectors. Her experience also includes the practice of corporate law and the drafting of civil and commercial contracts.

María Alejandra is a summa cum laude graduate of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). At the university, she held key roles, such as the presidency of the Board of Directors of the Law Students Association of PUCMM, Santiago Campus, where she led the organization and coordination of legal events of great relevance, collaborating with leading figures in the legal field and various public institutions. She has also worked as a legal researcher with state institutions for the development and updating of relevant legal frameworks.

Regulatory advice and legislative support to leading companies in various regulated sectors, including energy, banking, civil aviation, telecommunications and tourism.

Legal advice to an energy company in the due diligence for the installation of a transmission line for a renewable energy project.

Co-author of a collective work on banking and financial regulation, in collaboration with Dominican public institutions.
