Melissa Bueno Ramírez is a Senior Associate in the Business Department at Jiménez Peña, where she has been working since 2019. She specializes in Energy, Project Finance, and International Trade, providing comprehensive legal counsel to local and international companies on regulatory compliance, project development, corporate structuring, and due diligence for the acquisition and financing of large-scale projects, government procurement processes, and international commercial transactions in general.

Prior to joining the firm, she worked in the Trade Policy Review Division of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and on the Doing Business Report at the World Bank. She also served as In-House Counsel for a renewable energy (ethanol) project on the Dominican-Haitian border.

Melissa graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and holds an LL.M. in International Legal Studies, with specializations in International Business Law and International Commercial Arbitration. She is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Barna Management School.

In addition to being authorized to practice law in the Dominican Republic, she is admitted and in good standing with the New York State Bar.
