Amelia Ávila is a Junior Associate at Jiménez Peña. She concentrates her professional practice in the areas of Corporate Governance and Corporate Structures; in addition, she has been involved in the areas of Merger and Acquisition, and Hotel and Tourism.

Amelia graduated Summa Laude from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM).

Part of the team that provides assistance to Dominican and foreign companies, particularly renewable energy generation companies and free trade zone companies in complying with the special tax regime before the corresponding administrative institutions. Also, she has participated in the regularization of the operations of a large-scale hotel chain, incorporated in the country, and in the application of tax regulations in the Dominican industrial and commercial sector.
