Andrea García Camps began her professional career at Jiménez Peña and currently holds the position of associate. She is part of the firm’s dispute resolution team, with a focus on local and international arbitration and labor litigation. In addition, she assists the firm’s energy department with the regulatory procedures and processes before various government entities. Andrea holds a law degree magna cum laude from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Environmental and Energy Law from Georgetown University Law Center

Part of the team that represented one of the most important tourism real estate development companies in the eastern region of the Dominican Republic in a domestic arbitration administered by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Production of Santo Domingo.

Part of the team of one of the largest snack food manufacturers in the country in labor litigations related to the termination of employment contracts.

Part of the team who counseled a major regulated entity in the insurance sector in an arbitration claim against a sovereign State for the amount of US$70,000,000.00.

Part of the representation team of United Renewable Energy Co., LTD through its subsidiary Electronic JRC, SRL, in connection with negotiations with regulatory entities, for the development of Phase II of the Monte Plata Solar renewable energy project, which will contribute with an additional 30MW to the national energy matrix, for a total amount of 60MW of clean energy in its two phases.
